O ur building was constructed in 1980. Most older funeral homes are simply converted houses with steps, and a lot of broken up smaller rooms inside. We wanted to eliminate those barriers that at times made the services difficult to both see and hear. Porter Funeral Home sets on ground level with no steps. Our expanded chapel can comfortably seat over a hundred people with no vision obstructions occurring. Both men’s and women’s restrooms are available. We are a smoke free facility.
